What's included in the studio?
Large camera room with north window light, south facing bay window, ADA restroom and gorgeous dressing room.
Thousands of dollars in backdrops, props, accessories, unique furniture and more all at your fingertips. Reflectors, light stands, ring light available plus you're welcome to bring your own studio lighting.
*Membership/hourly rentals do NOT include use of the front lobby or salon space.
How do I reserve my time?
Studio availability is released by quarter and is open to our highest level members first. Hourly rentals (without membership) are only available 30 days out.
Can I share my membership with anyone else?
No, the photographer/creative who holds the membership is required to be on-site during each of their hourly bookings. You alone are responsible for what goes on during your allotted studio time.
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Of course, you're welcome to cancel membership anytime you like. However the $150 initial joining fee is due each time you renew.
Can I bring my own props/lighting/etc?
Of course! You're welcome to bring anything into the space that you'd like for your sessions. You'll just want to take them with you when you leave.
How do I access the space?
Each member will receive a unique front door access code which will be active while membership is active and in good standing. Missed payments, misuse of studio space or damage will result in code deactivation.
Who cleans the space?
You do. Our rental rates are low as we operate as a collective. After each studio use members are expected to reset the studio to how they found it. This includes emptying any full trash bins and cleaning up any messes created during your sessions.
Members are encouraged to report in if they enter the studio for use and it is not clean so that we may address it with the member who rented last.
How many people can I have in-studio for a session?
Big extended family? Cheerleading squad? Bring it! You're welcome to host large sessions in the studio space. As long as guests are gathering in the camera room so as not to disturb other businesses in the front lobby/salon they're welcome during your studio time.
What happens if I don't use my studio time for 1 month?
Studio hours do not roll over from month to month. Monthly memberships are at a significant savings off our hourly rate without membership and our larger plans are designed to give you flexibility, early reservation access and plenty of hours of use.
Plus, having up to 15/8/3 hours of studio use available per month could just be the accountability you need to fill those hours with sessions!
Can I only use the studio for photography?
Yes and no... the memberships and space is designed for photographer use but of course other creatives like videographers are welcome.
