Christmas? But it's the end of July and there's a HEAT ADVISORY for goodness sake! I know, I know.... it's not exactly Christmas weather out there right now, but believe it or not it will be soon. The long summer nights and sunscreen smell and tightening goggles yet again will turn into back to school shopping, new shoes and backpacks and quiet day-time homes.

And just a moment later it's halloween costumes and sugar comas and family gathering for Thanksgiving feasts! But then in just a blink Santa himself has come and gone. It happens so fast! And one year, before you know it, the 'I can't sleep...has he come yet? Did you put the cookies out?!?' excitement fades too.
