Which images are new/old?
Really, can you tell which of these headshots were taken at the company's original session TWO YEARS ago? Which ones were just recently updated in their office? Which ones were created in our studio for those who couldn't make it to our update day? Can you tell?
Who wasn't a part of this original team photo?
What about this one? Can you tell who wasn't a part of the team the first time we photographed them? What happened the last time you added staff? Did your team photo become obsolete instantly? Theirs didn't. And they didn't have to schedule a new session for the entire office, have remote workers come in and do an entire reshoot date.
But WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Okay, fair question. Why does it matter that we have consistency over YEARS of images created for your company or organization? For starters it saves you a lot of cost. When new board members or staff is added we do not have to have a new session for everyone. Instead we simply book a new session for those who need images; the new people of course and anyone who's significantly changed their look. This means that an updated team does not make all your past images obsolete = extended value!
And visually, we've made you continue to look like you care about and respect details - this message tells potential investors or clients that you'll care about the details of the work you do for them. You look sleek and professional versus having your about page be a combination of images that appear to be all self-submitted and visually confusing.
How do we do this?
We assume you want consistency even if you never tell us. At your very first office headshot session I'm going to take close note of every detail of how I setup your lighting/backdrop. You wont notice this but it's all happening under the surface. We'll save this in your account and the next time you call, I'll ask you if we're updating all images or only the new additions and if we aren't changing the look we'll match it! Done.
No extra fees. No extra work on your end. Just quiet professional consistency from me year after year.
